About me

I am of the generation of women told, “You can have it all! You’re so lucky!” And I believed it. It wasn’t totally wrong, but trying to live by that mantra takes a toll when it inevitably throws our lives off balance.

As a working mom and wife in high pressure positions in corporate America for many years, I thought I must be doing something wrong if it didn’t feel right—so I pushed harder. I ran marathons, attended as many of my children’s events as possible, volunteered at their schools to make up for the ones I missed, scheduled weekly date nights with my husband, made home-cooked meals most every night, hosted nearly all of our very large family gatherings, fit my girlfriends in wherever I possibly could and traveled the globe for work. I was living the dream!

I look back on those years with so much joy and a heart filled with gratitude for those who were there to love and support me. I’ve had incredible experiences and have cultivated a family and community that would not have been possible without that hard work. But I also look back with empathy and a heightened awareness of what we humans put ourselves through in our daily lives. Not to mention trying to manage the outside stressors that are beyond our control.

What started off as a whisper years ago became a reality in 2019 when I completed my first Reiki certification. It has been my experience that Reiki sessions allow us to (re)connect with ourselves. They help us clear our minds and relax. And they fill us with positive energy that refuels our bodies, minds and spirits. Who couldn’t use a bit more of that?

Working with openhearted, open-minded people. Chakra balancing, pain reduction, visualization and deep relaxation techniques.

Outside the gym

As a native Oregonian, spending time in nature and the beautiful PNW keeps me centered. I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, working out, and spending time with friends and family. My husband and I are settling into the empty nester stage. We love being surrounded by our two grown sons, many friends, our dog, and four generations of family who bring us endless joy. I am also a Partner and Managing Director at the Meriwether Group, where I have the pleasure and privilege of helping clients and brands navigate their journeys and achieve their goals.
