About me
I’ve spent much of my life interested in health, fitness and human performance. I’ve worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and strength coach for the past 5 years while completing my degrees in exercise science and acupuncture. Moving forward in my career, I’m eager to use acupuncture in conjunction with strength training to help people recover from injury, manage pain and get the most out of their workouts or rehabilitation.
Specialties
My training specialties include strength and hypertrophy training, athletic development and corrective exercise. My acupuncture specialties include sports medicine acupuncture, motor point acupuncture, trigger point needling and traditional Chinese medicine.
Philosophy
Quality and consistency are key. Whether you’re recovering from injury or attempting to improve your weight room abilities, being consistent with your self care and training regimen is essential to your progress. Acupuncture and
strength training can be great tools to help build a better you, but they’re much less effective when used in a random, unorganized manner. I am here to layout a plan for you, hold you accountable and help you execute all aspects of that plan properly.
Outside the gym
I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and currently live in SW Portland. Outside the gym, I spend my time snowboarding, hiking with my dog, playing disc golf, reading and going to concerts.
