Name: Tim Damron

Age: 42

Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: 2 years

What were your goals when you started? To lose weight and increase my energy and endurance.

What are your goals today? To continue to increase my energy and endurance.

What has been your biggest challenge? My biggest challenge has been balancing the nutritional side with my exercise program. I spend a lot of time on the road for my job, which makes eating healthy a challenge. With help from Hayden, I’ve learned to track my daily intake of calories and find healthy alternatives to help with my lifestyle.

What have been your biggest areas of improvement? The cardio side of my workouts has greatly improved since I first started. I think back to the first time I pushed the sled and how long it took in between sets to recover. I’ve worked on keeping my heart rate up and focused on more cardio, which has greatly helped in my workouts.

What is your favorite thing about Hyatt Training? The friendly environment with a great selection of workout equipment.

What is your favorite thing about your personal trainer? There are many great things I can say about Hayden. I never worked with a trainer before signing up with him and it’s been nothing but positive. He makes the workouts fun and sets up programs specifically for what you are trying to accomplish. Not only does he help you in the gym, he offers advise on how to improve yourself outside of the gym when it comes to nutrition or exercises you can do at home.

What is your proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training? I took many years off of working out in gyms before I started working out with Hyatt Training. My proudest achievement is getting back to where I used to be and having more energy in my daily routine.

What have you learned: With the help of Hayden, I’ve learned countless new ways to workout. I always relied on more traditional weight routines which only took me so far. My workouts change every five weeks now and they consist of a variety of techniques and equipment.

What advice would you give to other people starting on their fitness journey? I would tell others to be patient and be consistent. Results don’t come overnight but they will in time. When you start seeing them, you’re going to feel a greater motivation to see how far you can go.

If you remember, do you mind sharing why you chose to start training at Hyatt Training? A friend knew of Hayden and thought he would be a great match for what I was looking for in a trainer. Both Hayden and Hyatt Training have exceeded my expectations.
