Melanie Webb

Name: Melanie Webb

Length of time with Hyatt Training: 1-1/2 years

Goals when she started: To lose weight and complete triathlons.

Goals today: To become stronger, leaner and faster. My goals have definitely shifted since I’ve started working with Jeremy. While I want to continue to lose weight, the reasons have changed. I want to be strong and fit so I can swim, bike and run faster and challenge myself more when racing. Becoming lean and strong is a means to an end.

Biggest areas of improvement: My overall strength has improved. I never did the Hour of Power because I didn’t think I could do it and was always a little intimidated by it, but I’m participating in the HOP challenge and I’m able to do everything.

Favorite thing about Hyatt Training: I like the camaraderie when everyone is there sweating and suffering together. And I like that each week there are new workouts on the boards and Jeremy is always changing things up with equipment. It’s always great that when you come in to work out, you don’t have to figure out what to do—there’s new workouts written on the board each week. And if you’re ever injured, it’s great having Vince and the North Lake crew there to take care of you.
