Hyatt Training success story Matt Feldmar

Matt Feldmar is one of those guys that you look forward to seeing everyday. He has this smile, this laugh and this way of being into it but without taking things too seriously. We think that’s why people love working out with the guy – he’s up for anything and will make it more fun. For Matt, Ironman is a way of life. He’s his happiest when he’s putting the work in for his next race, both on the roads and in the studio. We’re looking forward to Ironman number eight in October. We love how this guy picks a goal and goes after it, again and again and again.

Name: Matt Feldmar

Age: 34

Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: August 2014, exactly two years.
Goals when he started: To build strength and PR at Ironman.

Goals today: To continue to build lean muscle and improve speed.

Biggest area of improvement: I went from 25% body fat to under 16%.

Favorite thing about Hyatt Training: The atmosphere and the trainers. They genuinely care about seeing you hit your goals and create a lasting partnership. The gym has become a powerful a tool in my arsenal.

Proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training: I PR’d at Ironman Arizona in 2014 and went on to compete in 3 ironmans the following year including another PR at Ironman Arizona in 2015 by over 30 minutes. I feel like there have been so many personal records there are just too many to list. I think the greatest win has been my confidence in myself. Jeremy and the team continue to help me realize my true potential in nearly every aspect of my life. It’s more than just personal training, it’s life training.
