Mark is the poster child for consistency and focus. He has been in the same time slot, rarely missing a day, for more than a decade. His original goals still hold true…be strong enough to keep running (what he truly loves to do). I’m happy that we’ve been able to accomplish that and keep his love of running and the community of friends it brings to him active for so long.

Name: Mark Brenner

Age: 52

Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: 2004. I’ve been training with Jeremy for 13 years.

Trainer: Jeremy Hyatt

Goals when he started: Maintain fitness and increase overall strength and conditioning. To have a base to stay at to stay motivated to be active both in the gym and outside running. Stay fit.

Goals today: I really don’t have a daily goal… It’s more about an active lifestyle and having the strength to maintain an active lifestyle. But at the same time knowing that I could sign up to run a race and not feel like I could not go out there tomorrow and compete.

Biggest area of improvement: Overall upper body strength in able to maintain planks and pull-ups.

Favorite thing about Hyatt Training: The supportive environment and continued positive results.

Favorite thing about your personal trainer: Variety. I love that Jeremy changes up each workout so it is not the same workout each time I am in the gym.

Proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training:  Probably staying with a consistent workout routine of strength and conditioning. I have been able to run 20 marathons since working with Jeremy!
