One of the things that has impressed us the most about Ian is his dedication to his training. He’s been training at Hyatt Training for a year and a half, and even with a busy family life and a business to run, Ian is here, week to week, smiling and ready to work!

Name: Ian Gates

Age: 44

Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: 1.5 years

Trainer: Sean Rieth

What were your goals when you started? To be and feel healthy and have more energy for parenting my two energetic young boys.

What are your goals today? To be and feel healthy and have more energy to parent my two energetic young boys.

What has been your biggest challenge? My biggest challenge has been making the time to come in, balancing work and family time, while keeping in mind the importance of self-care.

What is your favorite thing about Hyatt Training? It doesn’t have that typical gym feel. Everyone is personable and helpful. I like that I can come in on my own without having to have an appointment with my trainer.

What is your favorite thing about your personal trainer? Sean is down-to-Earth and easy to talk to you about fitness and life.

What is your proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training? Sticking with it.

If you remember, do you mind sharing why you chose to start training at Hyatt Training? I was looking for a personal training studio as opposed to a gym with personal training and Google led me right to Hyatt Training.
