About me

I’ve been a personal trainer since 2009, servicing corporate, commercial and studio settings. I decided to become a personal trainer after sustaining a wrestling injury in high school that almost put me into back surgery. I looked for alternatives on how to come back from the injury by strengthening and using the right form on exercises. I became a personal trainer so that I could help others overcome mental barriers through exercise and have an enhanced quality of life through movement.

I help clients establish a connection with their body through science-based, habit-forming techniques so they can gain confidence that carries into their life outside of the gym. My ideal client is someone who is ready to commit, learn, share a story and smile along their wellness journey.

My specialty areas include endurance and strength training, fitness for golf and tennis, injury prevention, rehabilitation, weight loss, muscle gain, boot camps, sports-specific training, body composition, weight training, corrective exercises, fitness nutrition and improved sports performance. One of my strengths is motivating and building clients’ confidence to attain a fitness or wellness goal.

I want to ensure a safe, challenging and effective workout. I base each session off the E3 formula that allows each session to be different from the last all while going toward a specified goal.

Outside the gym

I was born and raised in the Lone Star State, but the mountains were calling so I moved to Portland in 2016 when I was 26. There are so many outdoors options out here in the Pacific Northwest! A few of my favorites are mountaineering, skimo, backpacking, landscape photography, Randonee, ski touring and hiking. I enjoy networking and planning adventures to build up relationships and make memories that will last a lifetime.
