Summer started personal training sessions at Hyatt Training last July to help rehab from a car accident. Since then, she has met every obstacle that has come her way with an enthusiasm and willingness to work that is unrivaled. These qualities coupled with her effervescent personality and contagious smile have defined each of Summer’s sessions. With her wedding just around the corner, she’s ready to walk down the aisle looking and feeling her best!

Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: I started in July 2016.
Trainers: Sarah Griffin and Trevor LaSarre
Goals when she started: I was in a car accident the end of December 2015, which impacted by neck, back and pelvic area. My chiropractor could not get my back and pelvis to go back into place. So she referred me to a physical therapist in May 2015. Once I started making progress with my chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy in July 2015, my therapist recommended that I consider hiring a trainer to get my strength back and to hold my joints in place.
Goals today: My goals are to get my strength back after being out of commission for 8+ months and keep my back/pelvis in proper alignment. I would also like to eliminate the squishy belly that I gained after the accident. Plus get into even better shape than before my accident! (I love beach vacations and I’m getting married in August, both of which are keeping me motivated!)
Biggest area of improvement: Simply being me again. I struggled with pain and depression through my recovery. Now I feel like my personality is shining again as well as my energy.
Favorite thing about Hyatt Training: I love how friendly and helpful everyone is!
Favorite thing about your personal trainer: I love that Trevor pays attention to my form and constantly adjusts my workout accordingly. He often asks if I am getting the results I am looking for too, especially with my August wedding approaching. I also love playing the guessing game with regards to the music Jeremy plays each day.
Proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training: I have been seeing a change in how my body is shaped. Plus I am starting to lose some of the weight I gained, but I don’t want to focus on the numbers. There is more to it than that.
