Name: Madeline Wigen
Length of time with Hyatt Training and date when you started: August 2014, almost 2 years!
Goals when she started: Strengthen core and alleviate back pain, improve overall fitness.
Goals today: Continuous improvement in upper body strength and core. Do more long bike rides this year.
Biggest area of improvement: My overall level of fitness and muscle tone has improved a lot – and continues to. Working out is a lot more fun now. I’m also a lot better versed in a large variety of strength and mobility exercises now.
Favorite thing about Hyatt Training: The staff and clientele! The workouts are always challenging. And the fun, supportive environment makes it a lot easier to show up. I like how varied my workouts with Jeremy are and how accomplished and strong I feel afterward.
There is a ton of attention to detail put into the studio and it shows – the type of equipment they choose, how it’s arranged and how clean everything is.
Proudest achievement or biggest accomplishment since you began working with Hyatt Training: The 2015 Hour of Power challenge was a turning point for me. I had seen the workouts on the board each week but was intimidated by them. Jeremy had a bit of an “everyone into the pool!” approach to recruiting HOP-ers so it was hard to say no. After the 3 months of the challenge I kept doing it, and the Hour of Power has been part of my weekly routine for over a year now, including the 2016 #HOPx10 Challenge.
