One thing we have always valued at Hyatt Training is having well maintained and state-of-the-art equipment. As our personal training gym has grown, we have continued our commitment to order new toys twice a year.
To date, we have been able to bring in new pieces to challenge our personal training clients in new and different ways. As the business gets older and bigger, however, we now find ourselves ordering a little differently. We want to make sure equipment is replaced in a timely manner and that we have enough inventory to go around for a team of eight trainers. This means that new equipment orders will focus more on the functionality of keeping the studio in line with our high standards.
In our latest shipment, we bought a series of body bars for modified barbell activities. The largest is 27 pounds and nearly as long as a standard barbell, making it a great starter tool for barbell activities like squats, deads and cleans. We tripled our supply of bands and doubled our jump ropes.
Over the last two months, we’ve invested in converting the upstairs studio to a fully equipped training space. It now includes a TRX, dumbbells, body bars, a balance pad, bosu trainer and fully stocked shelf of myofascial release tools.
We hope you enjoy the new stuff, and please let us know if there’s anything you’re interested in. We’re always open to suggestions!
