This simple, one-bowl salad is my go-to for a fast, healthy, scratch-made salad dressing. Salad dressings are one of the very best things to make from scratch, eliminating unnecessary stabilizers and emulsifiers found in store-bought bottles.
Easy, homemade salad dressing recipe
I usually make my dressings from scratch, but I also get lazy. My favorite tip came from our dear friend Roland at Justa Pasta: Make your dressing in the bowl.
Directions
1) Drizzle organic olive oil in a bowl.
2) Add a crushed clove of garlic, drizzle of balsamic vinegar and pinch of salt.
3) Whisk together.
4) Add greens and toss to coat.
5) Add your favorite toppings. I top with a shaving of Manchego cheese and toasted pine nuts.
