Exercise and proper nutrition are a lifestyle, not a diet or chore. Personal training can be absolutely life changing!
Personality: Caring person who loves fitness
Certifications: Certified personal trainer (NCSF and NCCPT), CPR, AED
Proudest athletic achievements: In spring 2016, I lost 12 pounds and achieved 8% body fat in hopes of starting mountaineering. I summited four mountains that summer and have never been more proud of myself about anything this physical!
I worked at American Backflow Services as a salesman and became an Oregon certified Backflow assembly tester. I did this job for four years, which taught me a lot about customer service.
I decided to become a personal trainer because I’ve always had a passion for exercising. I started going to the gym with my uncle when I was 11, and I’ve been exercising ever since. I knew that with my passion for working out I could help anyone achieve their physical goals.
After leaving American Backflow Services, I got two personal training certifications and started working at 24 Hour Fitness in the Pearl district. After nearly 2 years there as a personal trainer, I decided to come to Hyatt Training.
My specialties are weight loss, weight gain and endurance training. I’m a huge outdoorsman, so I’m a great fit for clients who want to do more hikes, enhance their skiing or climb mountains. My ideal client wants to live a more active lifestyle.
Hiring a personal trainer can be one of the most valuable assets in your life. I’ve had clients say they were borderline hypertensive or diabetic. They were lost and lacked motivation to exercise. With proper guidance and motivation, personal training can become life changing.
Outside the gym
I was born and raised in Portland. I enjoy skiing, mountain climbing, camping, fishing, hiking and binge watching movies on the weekend. I also love hanging out with my new German Shepherd puppy, Lincoln.
