I have been training clients for 30 years, working with people ages 9 to 98. I have worked with all types of clients, including competitive athletes of all ages as well as clients with special needs. Most recently, I spent 8 years working as a sports specialist for the U.S. Navy teaching personal training and boot camps for active duty Sailors and Marines in Okinawa, Japan.
Growing up as a competitive athlete, I saw people who wanted to improve their athletic performances as well as people who wanted to be able to move and complete everyday tasks. Working as a personal trainer allows me to help people and improve their quality of life. Every client brings something different to our training sessions, which keeps my job extremely interesting and fun!
I try to help everyone become the best they can be physically and mentally. I listen to what clients want to achieve from their training sessions, then creating a personal program that will get them where they want to be in a safe but challenging way.
I have never had a client that did not benefit from my training program. I have had athletes looking to improve their performances in specific sports, clients needing rehabilitation so they can enjoy the movement they had before, clients needing to lose weight, and some needing to gain weight and muscle after struggling with eating disorders. I’m a very positive individual who believes everyone can improve their overall performance, strength and quality of life if given the correct tools and leadership.
My specialties are endurance and strength training, fitness for golf and tennis, injury prevention, rehabilitation, weight loss, muscle gain, boot camps, sports-specific training and confidence building.
Age is just a number. Don’t break what isn’t broken. With safety and the right training program, everyone can improve his or her quality of life physically and mentally.
